Burger King drops palm oil supplier
Burger King has dropped its palm oil supplier Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology (SMART) after a damming revelations about the Indonesian company's land-clearing practices were revealed in a Greenpeace campaign.
McBride, Europe's largest provider of private label household and consumer goods products, has announced an increase in operating profit of 38% thanks, in large part, to an emphasis on procurement, which it described as providing "a real competitive advantage".
