French government step-in with credit insurance pledge
French companies have welcomed the news that the country's government is to offer insurance to firms who offer credit to their trading partners.
The EU has warned that consolidation in the European food retail sector may result in uncompetitive behaviour, and has called for supply chain reform and a review of retail practices.
